I have been so busy enjoying this past weekend that I have nothing shopping related to report to you! I can say that we had a super weekend. Friday night we had munchies & drinks with some neighbors that are due to move at the end of the month…we will surely miss them. Good luck in your new town Matt & Patti - you will be missed! Saturday we watched Riley play soccer. It is so much fun to see two teams perfectly matched battle it out. The score was a tie but they were all winners in my book! Saturday afternoon I walked with a friend. We were super pumped to walk (and run a little) 5 miles in 1 hour & 9 minutes - boy were our faces red! Saturday night I helped my friend Kristen host an Uppercase Living party. I just love watching people get completely pumped about the product. I have actually put up a ton of them in my house. My favorite is the one that I got my Mom for Mother’s Day…

After the Uppercase Living party I hung out on my deck celebrating an early Mother’s Day with a few of my girlfriends. What a way to ring in Mother’s Day! On Mother’s Day I was treated to a day of gourmet food prepared by Riley. We had shrimp, fish, pasta, cream puffs and more - yummy! Poor Maddie was sick and had to spend a few hours at the Doctors office…she just can’t catch a break. Mike an I had a chance to sneak out to hit a few golf balls. The strangest thing happened, I hit a ball and the entire end of my club broke off and went flying into the air. Mike had to run out onto the driving range to get it for me! I have never seen anything like it. So now I have a nice paperweight in the shape of a 5 iron for my desk. Anyway, this week is going to be fun, busy, and a little bit sad. Today is my last day of school with my class and I will have to say goodbye to all of them. I had the pleasure of teaching the sweetest bunch of boys that I have ever met. Yes, you heard me right…my class is all boys! So I am off to give them big hugs and say my goodbyes…I hope I don’t cry!
Glad you had a happy Mother’s Day weekend!
I am glad you had a great Mother’s Day.
What is it about this year…we have all boys in the school’s K4 class as well? Hmmmm, I guess the little ladies in that age group will have plenty of young men to choose from.
