The Flip Video Ultra is by far one of my favorite products ever. This tiny (just over 4″ high and 2″ wide) little gadget takes the most amazing videos. The picture is clear and the sound is great! With the push of a button you are shooting your footage…then simply “flip” out the USB connector, stick it in your computer, and all of the software is available to you. With the software you can email videos, make movies, or upload to YouTube. In March I used my Flip to make a movie of the ING Half Marathon that my mom and I ran together. After I linked all of the video clips together we have a great 27 minute movie complete with a soundtrack. My mom loves this movie! In fact, the Flip would make an awesome Mother’s Day gift. Or, buy yourself one so you can send videos to your mom. It is such a great product that is so easy to use that some people have called it “the Ipod of camcorders. Only simpler”.
