Shopping helps and hints

I’m thinking about ink. April 14, 2008

I have jumped into “couponing” full force…and I am constantly printing out coupon after coupon from the web. In order to make internet couponing a good deal for me I have to keep my cost pretty low on ink for my printer! Some of the cartridges are super expensive to replace. In fact one time it was cheaper for us just to buy a new printer! One of the best places to find deals on ink is at Inkjetdeals.info.They will hook you up with  deals on  Hewlett Packard, Brother, Cannon, and many more.  They will link you to the best site for your particular brand and even offer you links for money saving coupons!  The best part of the site is here where they give you seven tips for saving ink.  Number 7 suggests using ink saving software that you can download for free.  I didn’t even know that there was ink saving software out there…has anyone tried this?  They also have a great troubleshooting section…to help you get out of those paper jams.  We all have tried generic prescriptions…have you tried generic printer cartridges?  Apparently they are much cheaper and work pretty well…the only problem is that many refillers won’t refill a generic cartridge.  So I guess you can save on the front end but end up paying more in the long run.  How do you keep your printer inked up?  Do you just buy the manufacturer’s brand?  Do you have your cartridge refilled?  Do you buy a new printer?  Where do you buy them…online or in a store?  How about the biggest question of all…how do you keep your kids from wasting ink??

Look what I found! April 14, 2008

I was at Office Max this week looking for a better way to organize my coupons and to my surprise they are selling a special line of Russell & Hazel products! I featured Russell & Hazel last year in my back to school radio segment. I love their line of binders & organization products for your home and office. The special Office Max line is called KIT by russell+hazel and it is great! The prices are great too…look at some of the things that I found….

This binder holds a lot for $12.99. It has 15 special business card pages in it that will hold up to 90 contacts!

You get two of these great “To Do” sticky pads for only $5.99!

15 of these cute little clips will only set you back $5.99!

I love finding new things at office supply stores! I even found the perfect solution for my coupons. A cute little 19 file check box. It looks like a train case and is super mod in blues & greens. It was originally $7.99 marked down to $2.70!!
