Nobody puts Baby in a corner! April 10, 2008

I just love cute baby stuff. I know…I don’t have a baby…its just fun to look at!  I love how modern & hip everything is.  It’s amazing how much things have changed since I was buying bottles and car seats!

I love how argyle is back. I loved it in the 80’s and I still love now! Spring break is still going strong…today is either a mountain hike or The World of Coke. I get to go to a Mary Kay party tonight for some all girl fun! Have a great day

Watch out…for Bulova April 10, 2008

What brand comes to mind when you think of watches? There are lots and lots of brands out there…some are trendy, some are fancy, and some are tried and true. I was reading a magazine the other day and the star in the photo had on a Bulova watch. That is a brand that I haven’t given much thought to. So being super internet savvy and all I decided to educate myself on Bulova. I was surprised to learn that it was started in 1875 by a 23 year old named Joseph Bulova. Wow, 23 years old! I suspect that he would have been featured many times over on the Donny Deutsch show if times were different. He started out selling clocks and when wristwatches became more popular than pocket watches in 1919 he branched out. Fast forward to the year 2000 and New York City proclaimed October 4th be called Bulova Day! Like I said…Donny would be proud of Joseph…what a business man. A great idea, a super product, and a lasting company. Like the shopping geek that I am I found the story of Bulova pretty interesting. I also found that their watches are pretty amazing too. I found a few Bulova watches that I wouldn’t mind having on my wrist….

Game on! April 10, 2008

Today the girls & I are heading over to my friends house for a full day of games! We will be playing Wii, Singstar, Payday, Sorry, Lucky Ducks, and whatever else they pull out of the closet There are only two rules…you have to wear your pajamas and you can only eat junk food! So think of me today in a house FULL of kids trying to “kick their butts” in a friendly game of whatever!
