My new toy… March 18, 2008

I had a ton of problems with my cell phone when Maddie was in the hospital. Poor reception & a horrible battery that would not stay charged. When things got back to normal last week I decided that I needed to get a better phone. I pay enough per month to use it…I should have one that actually works! I am with Sprint and they give you credits each year to upgrade your phone. I have had my old phone for two years so I had built up $150 in credits. With this money I had a choice of about 5 different phones that would have been free. I mulled it over and decided to spend a little money to get a really good phone - I never wanted to be in the situation that I was in with my previous phone. I did lots of research here on a few of the phones and ended up getting myself the Rumor by LG. I have been extremely thrilled with this phone! It get great reception where I never could before and is really easy to use. The coolest part of the phone is the slide out keyboard! I used to text in 1 word sentences….”OK”, “coming”, “why”, “share”, etc. Now I can just type away with my thumbs! I feel like a teenager Maddie is so jealous of my new phone but also loving the fact that I can text like a normal person with her. So…if you need me for anything…just text me!
