One more thing I needed March 11, 2008

I just remembered one more thing that I wish I had in my wallet last weekend. A calling card! I haven’t used a calling card in years but wish that I would have had one. As I mentioned earlier, my cell phone pooped out on me pretty early into our crisis. The hospital phones won’t let you dial long distance. I couldn’t reach any of my family members - they all live far away! I was on the phone with my sister in Europe and a Doctor came into the room so I had to get off of the phone quickly…I wish I had an International Phone Card…I could have called her back right away. It might be a good idea to keep a phone card in your wallet…just in case. Especially if you want to call out of the country. I found a site that specializes in phone cards.

GetMeCallingCards.com is a great site for a phone card!   Just pick the kind of card you need…calling Zambia?  They have you covered. Most of the cards can be reloaded.  Their rates are very good and they take major credit cards.  Always be prepared
