I love my new favorite show….Lipstick Jungle! Is anyone else addicted? You can watch some of it here. I haven’t read the book and was wondering how it compared to the series. I have moved this to the top of my TIVO priority…it is so good!

Another new favorite is Cashmere Mafia. I can’t decide which one I like better. I’m so happy to have great new shows on…thank you writers! What are your thoughts?

I’m going to an all girls Wii Party tonight…I have never played before….can’t wait…

Time 4 Sleep February 27, 2008

With a name like “Time 4 Sleep” I was immediately drawn to this site! I love looking over the gorgeous beds…wishing and dreaming. They have so many amazing beds to choose from. My favorite one has to be the Divan Bed. Sleek lines…looks like something from a movie set! I like how mod it looks. It would make for a very calm bedroom. Actually I love everything about this picture…the bed, light fixture, colors. Sometimes it is fun to look over beautiful websites like this for inspiration!

Feeling kinda crazy? How about this round bed? I love how this one looks. It would be pretty cool in a playroom too.

Of course the pink jeep would be mighty fun to sleep in. I would have loved sleeping in a Pink Jeep! Maybe I should get one for Winnie? She would look very cute in this.

I could shop this site for hours…they have so many beds to choose from. Fancy beds, modern beds, kids beds,  Metal Beds< you name it! If you need a bed this is the place to look. Great beds and great ideas. All of this bed shopping is making me very sleepy now….

I have a problem… February 26, 2008

I’m going to admit something embarrassing to you. I figure we have been together 1 whole year now…you won’t judge me - will you? I love playing my Nintendo DS. There I said it. Actually it is not my Nintendo DS…it belongs to the girls too. I have this addiction to Brain Age. I don’t play Mario or Pac Man (do they still make Pac Man?)…just Brain Age. I have gone from a 62 year old brain to a much younger 30 something brain in just a few months. My husband won the Nintendo with the Brain Age game a few months ago. He proudly brought it home for the girls to use…I quickly became addicted. So they have their games and I have my 1 Brain Age game. It really freaks me out when I look at the coffee table and see my teeny tiny Brain Age game just sitting there with no Nintendo in site. It is so little! It could fall off the table and then I know for sure Winnie would eat it - what a disaster that would be! I try to not get mad or whiny when I notice my game sitting out, I know the girls would never intentionally put my little game cartridge in danger (or would they??). Enter the Game Chamber. My saviour. This nifty little device holds all of your games inside of it. The great part is that you have to put a game in to take a game out. Pretty genius. My little Brain Age will never again sit out unprotected. For a small investment of about $20 I can be certain that we won’t lose any of the expensive (or beloved) games for our Nintendo! The games are so small & so easy to lose…what a great invention! The best thing about the Game Chamber? It comes in pink!!

It’s my 1 year Blogiversary!! February 25, 2008

I can’t believe it has been one whole year since I started my blog! Thank you to all of my readers who stop by, all of the great comments you have left, and to the amazing companies that have helped me out. I hope in the last year you have found some great products that you didn’t know existed, received some fun freebies, and enjoyed reading about all of my shopping finds. Together we have laughed at weird products… remember the vacuum shoes?

Everything should be monogrammed! February 22, 2008

I love all things monogrammed. My car is monogrammed, lots of my jewelry is monogrammed, my suitcase is monogrammed, my stationary, my coozie, and on and on. Even my cell phone is monogrammed! Maddie and I both got pink monogram decals for our phones…they are super cute! We found them at Palmetto Embroidery. Palmetto has a GIGANTIC array of monogrammed items at super great prices. They are my new favorite place to get monograms. They sell purses, totes, cups, cosmetic bags, kids stuff, car decals…and just about everything else that can be monogrammed. The prices are really low and monogramming is always free. Speaking of free… right now you can get 1 free cellphone monogram with any purchase! All you have to do is enter coupon code: FREECELLPHONE. Thanks Palmetto!! These would make great Easter Basket items, Mother’s Day gifts, or teacher gifts. If I only had a pink phone too….

You get cash back when you shop on the internet at your favorite sites through their site. You can shop at your favorite sites like Old Navy, Barnes & Noble, Gap, Target, and many more! Right now they will give each new person a $10 Rebate just for making 1 purchase with their site. I signed up and purchased the 2008 Entertainment Book that was on sale for $15…ebates gave me $6 for making this purchase plus $10 for being new and making my first purchase with them, and they gave me $5 for being referred! The way to a woman’s heart… February 19, 2008

I’ve been feeling really rotten the past few days…stuffy…sore throat..you get the picture. A little package arrived yesterday that made me feel oh so much better. It had jewelry in it!!! Yeah, I’m feeling pretty good right now…I just needed a little bling to get back my mojo. This get better present was from the amazing place called Beautiful Beads Company. It was an gorgeous necklace from their new Spring collection. It is awesome!! It’s not only beautiful, it is made extremely well- very sturdy. There is actually a heavy gauge wire that holds all of the beads on…not a dinky little string or fish wire. I think my fever had lifted!! I love the mix of the rock crystals with the turquoise. Look how pretty…

They use a lot of semi- precious stones and Swarovski crystals (which I love) to create individually designed pieces with a limited production. I’m still not feeling well. I hate being sick. What sucks about being sick right now is that we are having a 4-day weekend…I had so many fun things planned for the girls…uhhh! We did get to Walgreens where they picked out a bunch of free Jane make-up…so we have been doing lots of makeovers. I hope to venture out today to buy Maddie a pair of Sperry Top-Siders - can you believe that they are back in style? She was kind of weirded out when I told her that I had quite a few pairs in my day Its fun to freak her out like that. She and her friends found it quite funny that I was singing Low by Flo Rida this weekend. “Shawty had them Apple Bottom Jeans, boots with the fur…” Hello…can you tell that I am all medicated up (thanks to Dr. Bob)?
